Why We Walk

For almost 25 years, Fannie Mae has supported efforts to help prevent and end homelessness through the Help the Homeless Program.  Organizations share their stories on the important role the Help the Homeless Program plays in the critical work they do.

““What has been so amazing is watching an entire generation of students participate through the Mini-Walks,” said Sharan London, executive director of the Coalition.  “I’ve seen people walk in elementary school, then when they are in middle school and then join us on the Mall on the day of the Walkathon.” Read more...
